This sequel to Hush Hush continues two months after Nora gives her life for her fallen angel Patch. Patch then becomes Nora's guardian angel. After speaking from her heart to tell Patch she loves him, he leaves without reciprocating his feelings. Of course, she is devestated especially after he abruptly leaves her house without explanation.
Her nemesis Marcie sneaks in to cause her misery by becoming her chemistry partner and telling her Patch was watching her. Patch tells Nora that his relationship with Marcie is only business and that the Archangels will not allow him to love anyone, if he does, he will then go to HELL. So, what is a girl to do with this dilemma? Break up with Patch obviously.
Enter Nora as the third wheel now that Patch has hooked up Vee and Rixon. What could be worse? Marcie and Patch, a couple! Like any other teen drama, Nora must spy on Patch and Marcie.
Oh the Drama, I could not put this book down, I was so caught up in the story. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This whole story just proves the old addage: Assume, makes an ass out of you and me.
